"Serving Nepali Taste" has been our promise from the beginning. Alongside an international menu, our kitchens cook the food Nepali families eat at home, using fresh, local ingredients. It is the food our guests write about most.
Four places to dine
Chautari Restro & Bar. Our open-air terrace and bar above Phewa Lake, with Nepali, Indian, Chinese and continental dishes, signature cocktails and a fire on cool evenings. Barbecue nights are held here under the stars.
Lamjung Kitchen. A warm, naturally lit room for every meal of the day, and the place for a traditional thali or dal bhat.
The Dining Hall. Generous breakfast buffets and celebration dinners.
The Coffee Shop. Freshly brewed coffee, Nepali tea and something sweet to take into the garden.

What to order
Dal bhat is the meal that powers the country: lentils, rice, seasonal vegetables, greens and pickle, traditionally refilled until you say stop. A thali brings several dishes together on one tray. Momo, steamed dumplings with a spiced tomato dip, are Pokhara's favourite. On cooler nights, try the Nepali barbecue, grilled over charcoal with local spices.

Breakfast with a view
If you dine with us only once, make it breakfast. Pancakes, eggs, fresh fruit and pastries sit beside Nepali dishes, served with the lake in view.
