The pool sits on the roof, its edge falling away towards Phewa Lake. In the morning the water is still and the hills are clear. In the late afternoon the whole valley turns gold.
The view from the water
Look out over the rooftops of Lakeside to the lake, and across it to the forested ridge where the white World Peace Pagoda stands. On clear days, especially from October to April, the hills fold away into the distance behind it.
An afternoon well spent
Our guests tend to do it in this order: a massage at the AVEDA Wellness spa, time in the steam room and sauna, then a slow swim. Drinks from the bar come to your lounger, and the Chautari terrace is a few steps away for dinner.
